Valley Forge, Pennsylvania -- Alco Industries, Inc. has announced the acquisition of Kennie Manufacturing. Kennie will join Synthane-Taylor (Canada) Ltd., Markham, Canada (a wholly owned subsidiary of Alco Industries, Inc.).

Prior to the acquisition Kennie was a privately owned business operating and incorporated in Quebec Province, Canada. This acquisition will increase Synthane-Taylor's product offering in the Motor Slot Wedge market.

Synthane-Taylor (Canada) Ltd. is a fabricator and distributor of electrical, mechanical, and thermal insulating materials which are sold to electrical apparatus manufacturers and repair facilities, foundries, and the aircraft, railway, automotive, welding, and molding industries.

Cambridgeshire Chemical will join U.S. Chemical & Plastics, Massillon, Ohio (an Alco Industries division). This acquisition will give U.S. Chemical & Plastics a firm presence in the refinish industry and the ability to grow its
market share not only in the United States and Europe but worldwide.
